Position Overview
The Commercial Painting Foreman will lead ACP painting crews on commercial job sites, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role reports directly to the ACP Superintendent and coordinates daily with General Contractor (GC) superintendents to manage sequencing, scheduling, and on-site expectations. The foreman will attend site-specific daily meetings and maintain project-specific budgets.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and supervise ACP painting crews and subcontractors
Report directly to the ACP Superintendent on project status, needs, and challenges.
Coordinate daily with GC superintendents; attend all site-specific daily meetings.
Manage daily operations and sequencing as required to maintain quality standards
Manage project-specific budgets and report variances.
Ensure all crew members use proper PPE and wear ACP uniforms and enforce safety rules
Immediately report incidents such as accidents or near-misses
Accurately document employee and subcontractor T&M; work each day.
Report out-of-scope tasks to the superintendent
Complete ACP T&M tickets and report any extra work to Superintendent
Use Procore (and similar software) to manage documentation and manage punch lists via Procore
Plan and manage sequencing of scope of work; report inconsistencies and coordinate resolutions
Monitor material usage, manage waste factors, and report issues to the superintendent.
Ensure Quality standards are maintained as it relates to service deliverables
Qualifications
3+ years of commercial painting experience, including 1+ year in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of painting techniques, coatings, materials, and spray equipment
Proven ability to lead crews, coordinate with GCs, and meet strict deadlines
Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Google Suite, etc.)
Commitment to OSHA and company safety standards
Prior experience in the commercial painting industry
Ability to read and write English is required
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) preferred; OSHA certifications a plus

Compensation & Benefits
Starting pay: 21-25/hr based on experience
